• Profile Information: You may voluntarily provide your zodiac sign (Sun, Moon, Rising) and birth information to receive personalized daily and weekly tarot readings.
• Reading History: We store your saved tarot readings and interpretations so you can access your reading history within the app.
• Chat Conversations: Messages you exchange with Moira (our AI chat companion) are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure so you can resume your conversations. Chat is moderated for abuse; do not share sensitive personal information in the chat. You can delete all your chat data at any time from the chat menu ("Delete chat data").
• Usage Data: With your permission, we collect analytics data about how you interact with our app, including features used, reading preferences, and app performance metrics.
• Crash Reports: With your permission, we automatically collect crash and error reports to improve app stability.
• Device Information: We collect device type, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and security purposes.
• Purchase Information: When you make in-app purchases, transaction information is processed through Google Play Store and managed by RevenueCat. All purchases of Stars (virtual currency) are final and non-refundable. We receive only the purchase confirmation, not your payment details.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send you daily reading reminders and updates.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Authentication & Account Management: To authenticate your identity and manage your account securely.
• Personalized Content: To generate personalized daily and weekly tarot readings based on your zodiac sign and preferences.
• Chat with Moira: To respond to your messages in the AI chat and maintain the context of your conversations.
• Reading History: To save and display your reading history so you can access past readings at any time.
• Astronomical Calculations: To calculate planetary positions and transits using Swiss Ephemeris for accurate astrological insights.
• AI-Powered Interpretations: To generate tarot card interpretations using artificial intelligence through our secure Firebase Functions.
• Virtual Currency Management: To manage your Stars (virtual currency) balance and synchronize it with your purchases via RevenueCat.
• Push Notifications: If enabled, to send you daily reading reminders and important updates.
• App Improvement: With your permission, to analyze usage patterns, monitor app performance, and fix crashes to improve user experience.
• Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and provide technical support.

We do not, under any circumstances, sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Daily Tarot integrates with the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring.
• RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase data according to their privacy policy.
• Google Sign-In: Handles user authentication. Google processes authentication data according to their privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: Hosts the AI chat with Moira (Workers AI) and stores your chat conversations (D1 database). Cloudflare processes this data according to their privacy policy.
• Swiss Ephemeris: Used for astronomical calculations. This library processes data locally and does not transmit data externally.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• Cloud Storage: User data is stored on Google's Firebase platform, which uses encryption at rest and in transit.
• Chat Conversations: Stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database), with encryption in transit.
• Authentication: Firebase Authentication provides secure sign-in with industry-standard protocols.
• Access Control: We implement strict access controls and security rules to protect your data from unauthorized access.

6. Your Privacy Controls

You have full control over your privacy settings in the app, including Usage Analytics, Crash Reports, Personalized Content, and Push Notifications which can be managed in the Settings menu.

7. Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: View your profile information and reading history within the app at any time.
• Update: Modify your profile information, zodiac sign, and preferences through the Profile screen.
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data from your Profile page. This action is permanent and irreversible.
• Delete Chat Data: Erase all your conversations with Moira from our servers at any time via the chat menu ("Delete chat data").
• Opt-Out: Disable analytics, crash reporting, or personalized content at any time through Settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data until you delete your account. Reading history and chat conversations are kept until deleted by you or your account is closed. Analytics data is anonymized and may be kept indefinitely, while crash reports are retained for up to 90 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Daily Tarot is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Data Transfers

By using Daily Tarot, you consent to the transfer of your information to Firebase and Cloudflare servers, which may be located in various countries worldwide. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
